Visitors Center

During the Passover holiday, guided tours and wine tastings will be offered (by prior reservation), alongside a dairy café kosher for Passover, Kitniyot-free (certified by the Binyamin Regional Rabbinate).

At the winery complex, you’ll also find a wine shop with special offers for club members, a nursery with beautiful plants, home and garden décor items, and a vintage shop featuring a unique, handpicked collection of clothing, shoes, and jewelry sourced from around the world.

A visit to the Psagot Winery Visitor Center offers a variety of experiences tailored to your schedule and group size. The tour unfolds through the winery’s different spaces, each revealing a distinct facet of life in Binyamin and highlighting the region’s ancient winemaking tradition, which began over 3,000 years ago and continues to flourish today. A guided tour and wine tasting will elevate your visit. The Visitor Center is housed in a beautiful stone building recalling an ancient roadside inn, overlooking the breathtaking landscape of Wadi Qelt and the Edom Mountains. Its spaces are arranged around a rustic inner courtyard, and in the cellar, more than 1,350 barrels of wine are carefully aged. At the winery, you can explore the wine museum, join tours and tastings, and arrange a variety of experiences and events for individuals or groups (by appointment). After your tour, we invite you to relax in our dairy café, offering a rich and diverse menu, and to visit our wine shop, where the full selection of Psagot wines is available for purchase.

Tours & wine tasting

The secret to good wine is in creating a perfect fit between the grapes and where they are grown. At Psagot Winery, the connection between the wine, the place and the fertile soil is a story of heritage and historical belonging. It all started out in a 2500-year old cave where we found an ancient coin, a message from the past The connection between progress, technology, history and heritage, between deep roots and a vibrant present – that is the core of our story.

We are continuing an ancient wine tradition, binding us to the soil and its crops for millennia and we invite you to take a tour that is an experience at the ancient crossroads and modern junction on the road to Jerusalem. Come enjoy the site, the story and the wine while overlooking the primordial view, the magnificent vineyards and our pleasant hospitality – just 15 minutes from Jerusalem.

The tour begins at the main foyer housing the ancient wine museum. From there, we will go on to the lookout point, revealing the impressive view of Michmash Stream adjacent to the old trade routes, the new road to Jerusalem and other historical sites. We will then go down to the wine balcony, a unique and meticulously designed room overlooking the barrel cellar, infused with wine aromas. Here, we will explain about the wine production process and the Binyamin region’s unique wine-like essence reflected in the winery’s wines. We will continue with wine tastings, and learn how to taste wine the correct way to drink it to attain optimal satisfaction. Tours by appointment only

Following the tour, you are welcome to enjoy refreshments at our coffee shop, or pair the experience with a fine cheese platter.

For all butter and French pastry lovers, here you will find handmade and locally baked pastries, salads, pasta, coffee, excellent wine and more. We are open all days of the week with a special Patisserie celebration on Fridays. we invite you to enjoy a glass of wine at the winery, in the rustic indoor courtyard overlooking the spectacular view offering a special atmosphere.

Enjoy professional wine tastings of select Psagot wines, ideal for groups, tours, or simply savoring the wine and view.

Winery Dining in a Pastoral Atmosphere (Groups)

A dairy meal for groups that can be upgraded with assorted Psagot wines, wine tasting sessions and a tour of the winery. These options are suitable for organized groups visiting the winery. (Reservations required).

Team Building Days

In addition to the various activities at the winery, we offer a variety of workshops and local attractions, such as: a tour of the ancient Shilo, cycling trips, Ranger routes, hiking trips and visits to streams, camel trips, creative workshops, musical gatherings, sensory workshop and more… The winery offers private spaces for gatherings and we can provide various hosting options, including light meals/meat meals, brunches, platters, coffee & pastry corners, cold beverages, and more, all based on your needs and budget.

Sensory Workshop at Psagot Winery

A unique, fascinating and team-building program for understanding our individual and unique sensory skills, and the connection between our senses, memories and wine. During the workshop, we will experience and learn how to improve our definitions, understand what affects what we taste, smell and feel. We will delve into the experience of drinking wine, including its complexities, layers and wealth of content. The workshop is intended for groups of up to 20 participants and it includes wine tastings, the workshop goes on for ~1.5 hours and it can be combined with a tour of the winery and various refreshment options, ranging from coffee and pastries, through cheese platters, to a full meat/fish/dairy meal.
